Westphal, U-23s beat Slovenia to open 2016 Istria Cup

The U.S. got goals from Shea Groom, Taylor Smith, and Andi Sullivan. Jane Campbell earned the shutout in goal. Next up for the U.S. is a meeting with Poland’s U-20 Women’s National Team. That match is set for Friday, March 4, at 8 a.m. ET. The U.S. closes out the tournament on Monday, March 7, against France’s National B team.
