Kyah Simon to play for Western Sydney Wanderers this offseason

(Oct. 16, 2013) - The Boston Breakers announced today midfielder Kyah Simon has gone out on loan to the Western Sydney Wanderers through the end of the Australian W-League season.

 
The Australia international will return to the Breakers in March 2014.
 
Simon made 17 appearances (11 starts) for the Breakers in 2013. She scored three goals and tallied three assists in 1,068 minutes.
 
 
The Quakers Hill, Australia native has played in the Westfield W-League since 2008-09 when she debuted for Central Coast Mariners. She then went on to play for Sydney FC, winning the W-League Grand Final with the club in 2010 and 2013.
 
Simon made three Grand Final appearances in five years with Sydney FC and won the Golden Boot in 2009-10, scoring 11 goals in 12 games.
 
She has 33 caps and seven goals for the Australia Women’s National Team. She made her debut for the senior team at the age of 16, playing against Hong Kong in 2007.
