(Nov. 23, 2016) - The Boston Breakers announced today that they have waived forward Elise Krieghoff.
Krieghoff appeared in six games for the Breakers during her rookie season. She scored one goal. It came in a 4-1 loss at Houston on Sept. 11, 2016.
“We would like to thank Elise for her hard work and dedication this past season,” Boston Breakers president of soccer operations and development Lee Billiard said. “We wish her all the best in the future and hope she is able to continue her development.”
The 23-year-old Krieghoff was signed as a discovery player on April 26, 2016 out of Col-Poly University. She finished her college career as one of five Senior CLASS Award First-Team All-Americans and scored a school-record 52 goals and tallied eight assists.
