Breakers midfielder Rose Lavelle named USWNT allocated player for 2017

(April 6, 2017) - The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) announced today the official list of U.S. Women’s National Team allocated players for the 2017 season. A total of 22 players will be participating as federation players in the upcoming NWSL season, and that group includes Boston Breakers midfielder Rose Lavelle.

Lavelle, the No. 1 pick in the 2017 NWSL College Draft, is one of four newly allocated U.S. Women’s National Team players that will be among the 10 clubs. That group also includes Allie Long (Portland Thorns FC), Casey Short (Chicago Red Stars) and Lynn Williams (North Carolina Courage).
